Which Warrior winch series is right for my vehicle or trailer?
The right choice depends on the load you need to pull. The Ninja range covers lighter duty work up to around 2,000kg and suits ATVs, small trailers and utility vehicles. The Samurai and Spartan ranges are better suited to larger 4x4s and heavier recovery or loading tasks up to around 9,000kg. For industrial or extreme duty applications, the T1000 Severe Duty series offers the highest capacity and most robust construction in the range.
Can I use a vehicle electric winch for boat trailer use?
Yes, many customers use a 12v electric winch mounted to a trailer or vehicle for loading and recovering boats. For lighter boat trailer applications where a powered option is not required, our manual boat trailer winches in the TS Series collection may also be worth considering.
Do these winches come with rope or cable included?
Most models in this collection are available with either steel cable or synthetic rope, and the listing will specify which is included. Synthetic rope is lighter and safer to handle under tension, while steel cable offers greater abrasion resistance. Replacement and spare rope options are available if you wish to change the rope type after purchase.
Are wired or wireless remotes available for these winches?
Yes. A full range of Warrior remote controls is stocked alongside the winches, including wired hand remotes and wireless options. The wireless remotes are dual voltage and compatible with both 12v and 24v Warrior models. ATV handlebar remotes are also available for the Ninja range.
