Just what I was looking for, big enough, managed to get it in the ground with the help of crowbar to twist it into the ground.

Exactly what I needed. Good strong winch, arrived before due date, well packaged, alround excellent service.

Needing a replacement winch for a now discontinued one, I contacted Winchshop asking for a like for like. They identified a near identical winch and recommended it. Problem solved!

Product arrived in good order and as described in good order.
It could have been better packaged as it was just loose in a large box with little to no stuffing.

I ordered a product online this morning, I was emailed not too long after to say that my order was ready. On collection I realised I had ordered the incorrect size. The two chaps in thew Bury office were great and helped me correct the issue.
They were both very friendly and helpful. Would recommend Bury to anyone.

bought this to aid pulling several long and heavy cables through ducts, in comparison with the powered winches this was the cheaper option and would get to me in time, easy and quick to set up and simple to use and pulled the cables through with no issues what so ever. great addition to my ever going tool collection.

The build quality of the hand winch is very good; the only downside is that it takes a lot of turns to rise the washing line even if you’re just putting it up a little bit but overall, I am happy with my purchase.

Have used one previously, this one does exactly what I need it for would recommend for use I put it to which was for sound control in a belfry
