Fitted with a 50 mm wide x 8 metre polyester strap complete with eye hook on the end. Polyester strapping is kinder to the hands of the operator and is positively anchored to the drum for safety.

The rope on my trailer winch is pulling too much on one side of the drum and climbing up, making the handle jerk - how can I fix this?
Thanks for your enquiry.
Possible Solutions 1/ is to reposition the winch so it's pulling in line where it's attached to the vehicle being pulled. 2/ Use a pulley to align the rope before the winch. 3/ Use a sling to centralize the rope on the vehicle so it pulls in line with the winch. The further you pull the vehicle up the trailer the steeper the angle to the winch and this makes it jump worse.

Can this winch be used to let something of a trailer in a controlled way?
Yes the winch is braked under load.
