The pulley was just as I was wanting it has worked perfectly. I have recently refurbished the church bell on our historic church ,it had various problems . The main one being the pull rope was originally outside the building and needed redirecting inside hence the need for a pulley.

I'll be honest — I never thought I'd be writing a love letter to a karabiner, yet here we are.
I work in soft play installations, which means I spend an uncomfortable amount of time clipping myself to padded and wrapped steel frameworks at height, trying not to think too hard about what's keeping me up there. My old hooks had other ideas — turns out they had no interest in fitting around anything thicker than a pencil, leaving me doing a sort of elaborate lanyard origami every time I needed to get some work done. Not ideal when you're dangling above a sea of foam blocks and plastic slides.

It fits around padded and wrapped steel with about 3mm to spare, which in the world of work at height feels practically luxurious.
