There is no thing such as best material for marine environment.
This is because marine comes in very different forms with levels of certification required & very different usage.
There is steel with galv finish or painted.
There is stainless steel.
There is nylon- plain nylon absorbs more water so nylon with molly or graphite is better.
In most cases s355 steel with zinc primer & 2 pack top coat is sufficient.
