Spec
The SP3TW40 comes with an 8 mm diameter x 12 metres long galvanised steel rope with eye hook on the end fitted to the winch. The wire winch can be used to pull at up to 20 degree angle side to side, and even more if using a fair lead. The drum is of a size in diameter that reduces wear and tear on the rope and positive anchorage of the rope to the drum for safety.

I have an Ifor Williams CT177 car transporter, the trailer previously had a winch and I was looking to add one back on, I have seen this one and wondered if this would be easy to fit. Trailer Winch 3T Vertical Mount with Hook & 8mm 12m Wire Rope SKU :160-1-6 Is there any other parts/fittings that will be needed?
The winch to fit on the CT177 is the SKU 160-1-4, 3 ton horizontal mounting winch with wire rope which would just bolt onto the plate where the old one had been.
If you wanted the 3 ton vertical (SKU 160-1-6) you would need to cut off the beam across the front of the trailer and drill holes in the front of the trailer to mount the winch.
